Water and Wellbeing

Our Mindful paddler Exped on the 28^th to 30th^th June 2024 on the Isle of Mull aims to help you create a profound sense of wellbeing by cultivating ongoing practices that:

stimulates your sense of curiosity and natural fun!
helps you connect with yourself through being present to the physicality of your paddling and mindful of your thoughts and emotions
facilitates connecting with others through shared experience
connects you with the environment through intentional observation.

Bendoran, Isle of Mull

The Mindful Paddler Exped will be based around the beautiful coastline of SW Mull, the beaches here are simply stunning – Market bay, Traigh Ghael and Balfour bay are simply world class and there are loads of others!

The iconic Iona is just around the corner and the spectacular Treshnish Isles which include Staffa can be seen from our base.

Retreat facilitator

Jon Lloyd is kayak leader, a qualified mindfulness teacher, an integrative counsellor specialising in trauma work who has worked at places including Outward Bound New Zealand, Spinnakers Sailing centre, Camas Experiential Outdoor Learning Centre, Bramley Lakes Team Development Centre.
